Our classes our ideal because you can bring your baby along too. We also teach first aid to children from as young as 3 years old!

Mini First Aid Suffolk launched in September 2017. The business has gone from strength to strength and we now have 2 trainers (myself and Zoe) travelling all over Suffolk, giving people to confidence to deal with an emergency if the worst were to happen.

I love being my own boss. Apart from the amazing job satisfaction I get knowing that what we offer has the potential to save a child’s life. I also love how much confidence starting my own business has given me. I started the business when I became a single mummy when my daughter was just one. I’m very proud of what I have achieved.

Along side the parent and kids classes. We also sell our amazing first aid kits, not only are they perfect size for the changing bag or car but they also look beautiful too!

My favourite class that we run is our Kids class aimed at 7-11 year olds. Children are like sponges and can learn so much! They are very capable of knowing first aid and at that age are able to preform life saving techniques on friends. Children are great fun and come out with the funniest things!

Time to get a bit personal…

I’m pretty sure this is every mums struggle no matter what your circumstances! I have a little girl called Esme who is now 2. She is often an angel but sometimes more hard work than the 20 autistic children that I used to look after when I was a deputy manager at a children’s home! Being a single mummy, having a new business and also a part time job working 2 days a week, it is definitely a balancing act!!! I am lucky that I have some amazing family to support me and I now have Zoe, my new trainer to help me out with the business. I think when you start your own business you fully expect to put the hours in. Going to bed at 12 and setting the alarm for 4am is a fairly common occurrence in my house.

I’m not afraid to admit it………. I am devastated that love island is over! (that kind of thing is not normally my cup of tea, but I got totally hooked!) I love crime dramas or anything medical! I’m 29 and went to my first ever concert this year! Seeing Ed Sheeran was amazing and I’m not really sure how I’m going to top that.

I love to run! (mainly so that I can consume more cake and wine) but I am also one of those weird people who actually enjoys it! I have completed 2 half marathons this year already and have another one booked in. It’s my only opportunity for a bit of ‘me time’

I absolutely love the beach! I mean who wouldn’t, but now I have my daughter we just love to go whenever we can squeeze it in. Southwold is our favourite, but happy to be anywhere with sun, sea and ice creams of course!

Oh my! what a question! its a tricky one but I think I would have to go with …. Snog Mr Maker Marry Mr Bloom and avoid Mr Tumble and his bloody spotty bag!!
